Whilst searching for unusual photographic material, author Jan de Lange stumbled upon a virtually forgotten archive of unprecedented scale: over 21,000 rolls of film from the period 1938–1980, filled with unique photographs. Amidst thousands of images of motor shows, test drives, launches and races, a veritable treasure trove emerged: an impressive collection of photographs of Citroëns in the famous Tulip Rally.

Many of these images remained hidden for decades and were unknown even to connoisseurs.
